Elyon Kindergarten and Primary School has once again demonstrated academic excellence following the release of the 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results. The school celebrated this remarkable achievement with a thanksgiving ceremony attended by learners, parents, teachers, school administrators, and invited church leaders.

With two branches located in Namatovu and Nsangi, the school presented a total of 146 candidates for the national examinations. The results reflected outstanding performance, with 118 pupils passing in Grade One and 28 in Grade Two. This achievement highlights the schoolโ€™s consistent dedication to quality teaching, structured academic preparation, and strong learner support systems.

The thanksgiving ceremony was presided over by the Right Reverend Eron Kibirungi Mugumya of Holy Trinity Church of Uganda. In his message, he encouraged the pupils to remain humble, disciplined, and faithful as they advance to secondary education. He reminded them that academic success is not an end in itself but a foundation for greater responsibility and service to society.

Speaking during the event, the school director expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for guiding the candidates throughout their academic journey. She commended the teaching staff for their commitment, professionalism, and extra effort in preparing learners for the examinations. She also appreciated parents for their cooperation and support, noting that academic excellence is achieved through partnership between home and school.

The chairperson of the school management committee, Mr. Shadrack Namanya, emphasized that primary education plays a crucial role in shaping a childโ€™s intellectual and moral development. He urged parents to continue investing in foundational education, describing it as the cornerstone of future academic success.

In recognition of exceptional performance, pupils who scored Aggregate 4 were rewarded with laptops to support their digital learning at the next level. Those who scored Aggregate 5 received mattresses as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement. The celebration concluded with prayers, joy, and a shared meal, reflecting unity and gratitude within the school community.
